Veterans’ Day, which commemorates Finland’s war veterans and the end of the war and the beginning of peace, is celebrated annually on 27 March. April. Cities are responsible for organising the main Veterans Day celebrations, and the host city changes every year. This year, the main celebration of Veterans’ Day was organised by the City of Vaasa at the Botniahall in Vaasa.

The technical implementation of the prestigious event at Botniahall in Vaasa was an impressive undertaking, requiring extensive planning and preparation.

Lighting of the event space for live TV coverage

The lighting requirements for live television broadcasting were considerable, given the large size of the stage and the audience of over 100 people. Lighting solutions were designed for the event that would work both to illuminate the performers and to create a visual identity. Our lighting plan covered a hundred or so different lights to ensure that every angle of view looks good on TV.
